Care / washing:
We recommend gentle hand washing and rinsing in lukewarm water at max. 30 degrees. Use liquids designed exclusively for washing wool, such as pink Perwoll. Dry flat and avoid drying through high temperatures like a radiator or the sun. Merino wool fibers do not stain like other fibers. They have self-cleaning scales that make merino wool products antibacterial and do not absorb odors, so to refresh the blanket most often it is enough to simply air it. After washing, the blanket should be shaped by stretching it slightly.

Merino wool is extremely special: New Zealand sheep live in extreme conditions, where the temperature in summer reaches plus 30 degrees, while in winter - 20 degrees. Their wonderful wool allows them to survive in all conditions - in summer it cools, in winter it warms the body very well. It will perform perfectly all year round. What is the process of creating yarnami blankets?

First the need for color and the idea for the weave is born. We usually look for inspiration among sweater weaves on various knitting forums. We choose several of them and modify them according to our own visions.
The idea is forwarded to the knitting shop, where weave tests are made. First we test the weave. First the weaves are translated into the programming language of the knitting machine. During testing, the weave is adjusted and corrected so that the blanket does not twist and holds its form. Sometimes it turns out that it is necessary to change the weave or even the whole concept.
On the prepared samples, washing, drying and blanket tests are done so that we can be sure that the products can handle the daily rituals in our customers' homes.
At the same time, color work is underway. We provide color samples to a dedicated laboratory, for this purpose and better precision in communication we operate a professional PANTONE color sampler.
After about 2-4 weeks, we receive the dyed strands of our yarn and assess whether the resulting colors match our expectations.
If everything agrees we dye the entire, large batch of yarn, which then goes to the knitting machines. When the blankets come off the knitting machines, they are sent to an eco-friendly laundry, which stabilizes the size of the blanket, shrinks any loose meshes and finishes the entire production process with safe washing agents.
The final step is sewing on the tags, steaming, folding and packing into cotton bags.
A lot of work - but the result delights us every time. We love our blankets and know that we will never get tired of designing them.
